Hello! :) Aww thanks! It took me a lot of years to develop a particular style—I tried a lot of things before I finally found this…personality. After years of gathering pegs, and drooling over other people’s artwork, I decided to close the computer (when I’m illustrating on paper anyway), or closing the windows (computer windows haha) while working. Our creative mind is a sponge; it absorbs elements you love. And somehow, along that process, it becomes a natural part of your aesthetic. Look around you, or elements of your childhood, or books you love, or how your life would look as a movie. I hope this helped. :)
Love,
W
Next Saturday! It’s the launch of my exhibit with Yvette Tan, and we call it Strange Times.
It starts 7pm at Pablo X along Pasong Tamo Extension and there’ll be food and booze, of course. Everyone is invited.

Hi, the talented Yvette Tan and I collaborated and this is the spawn of that. A little dark, a little quiet, curious, definitely curious.
I hope you and your friends can get to drop by on February 11, 2012 at the new Pablo X along Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati. Free hugs for all! :) And good vibes, too!
What a nice way to end the year. Sending you all good vibes! :) Hug hug hug!
where I promise to update on work-related matters. (Because other personal matters must be separated haha)
Let’s be friends there, yes? :)
